Partnering skills workshops
Partnering skills workshops are designed for senior managers responsible for developing and managing significant business relationships, and enable participants to:
- Develop their understanding of critical success factors for their relationships through access to insights and frameworks developed by GBPA
- Learn and practice new skills for improving collaboration and effectiveness
- Address key issues and develop action plans to guarantee successful growth of their specific business relationships.
The partnering skills workshop is a highly practical interactive day with a small number of delegates. In preparation, ahead of the day, a telephone interview takes place to enable the programme to address specific individual needs. In particular, this call ascertains each delegate’s partnership experience and the type of partnering they are involved in. It also starts the delegate thinking about a particular relationship they may want to work on during the day.
The workshop itself is interactive, with the morning given over to looking at research relating to how partnering and individual relationships within partnerships function, identifying critical success factors, and providing models for the delegates to use in their own relationships.
In the afternoon, delegates have the opportunity to work on any particular relationship issues, through practice sessions with an actor and a coach.
The partnering skills workshop is open to delegates from member organisations and a workshop fee of £950 + VAT is charged per delegate.
