Diagnostic
GBPA develops practical diagnostic and assessment frameworks and tools, so that members are able to assess the state of different aspects of their collaborations / business partnerships and so as to identify and agree actions to take in collaboration with their internal and external business partners.
These include:
- The GBPA Partnership Crab (guide to key capabilities and behaviours for partnering success)
- Improving senior executive team collaboration
- Organisational Cultural Assessment Framework
- Partnership Objectives Alignment Diagnostic
- Collaborative Individual, Team and Leader Toolset
- The Collaborative Outsourcing Journey Framework.
In addition, GBPA provides a review, diagnostic and improvement service of existing key business relationships for member organisations through utilisation of GBPA’s Relationship Assessment Diagnostic (RAD). This service enables the perspectives of both parties involved in an important business relationship to be expressed and then independently assessed by GBPA.
The RAD questionnaire content has been developed on the basis of best practice in partnering, building on the ongoing research programme of GBPA, including the results of a partnership survey conducted with over 100 organisations on a global basis – this ensures that the critical areas of a successful business relationship are explored and analysed by GBPA. In addition, the RAD surfaces the benefits that the parties feel that the relationship has brought to their organisation, and their thoughts on what they would do differently if they could start the relationship again.
Once completed, the RAD questionnaires are assessed by GBPA and a report produced that highlights the areas of success in the relationship and the areas for concern and suggested solutions. In addition, the report includes GBPA’s Relationship Assessment Map of the relationship, which provides a visual perspective on areas of (mis)alignment and relative strength.
On joining GBPA, members receive a GBPA Relationship Assessment Diagnostic of a key member relationship of their choice.
