Events

GBPA’s unique mix of research-based Discovery programme, experience of developing improved collaboration in key internal and external relationships across different sectors, and its international community of participating organisations enable GBPA to deliver value-adding events.
These events are highly participative, and provide the opportunity for senior executives from organisations participating in GBPA’s member community to share and access best practice, independent advice and practical solutions to their internal collaboration and business partnering challenges – including commercial, organisational and cultural issues.
Peer group interaction
GBPA provides a unique forum where senior executives can meet in an objective and confidential environment to explore critical partnering and collaborative matters – including commercial, organisational and cultural issues. This includes GBPA’s Executive Dinner Forum (by invitation only), where there is an opportunity to meet peer senior executives while discussing a topic of current significance, such as: ‘Driving collaborative business relationships in a challenging economic environment’.

Special Interest Forums
GBPA Special Interest Forums are quarterly, facilitated morning sessions for developing learning and practical solutions in key areas. These are currently focused on:

  • Enabling the Right Dialogue
  • Internal collaboration
  • Relationship Management

Attendance at these Special Interest Forums provides the opportunity to explore particular areas of interest in depth and to share experiences with other participants from different sectors, with input and guidance from a seasoned expert on the topic who facilitates the forum so as to surface new insights and solutions.

Evening Events
GBPA’s programme of highly interactive evening events provides senior executives with the opportunity to discuss challenges and discover solutions in an open, yet confidential, environment.

Invited contributors include leading practitioners with relevant experience to share on key areas of interest, such as: Establishing a ‘Right First Time’ Collaborative Relationship; The Collaboration Journey; Building effective high-performing collaborative teams; Is collaborative leadership possible?

Conferences
GBPA’s half-day conferences provide participants with the opportunity to explore in depth a topic of particular current significance and widespread interest.

These events are practical experiences, which bring people together from a wide variety of sectors in activities that draw on helpful materials created from GBPA’s research-led Discovery work and other insights developed in collaboration with other specialist organisations.
